Forest is known as an area with a high density of trees. Forests cover about 9.4% of Earth’s surface (or 30% of total area), while most of them are very popular tourist destinations in the world. Many visitors discover the beauty of nature within them, while various activities provide an opportunity for more people to experience the other side, the naturalist! But there are also lesser-known forests, which even boast their particularities. Unusual trees, logs paradoxical, rare plant species, even underwater forests causing great interest to the general public. The least!

Leaning tower of Pisa, Italy, by night.

The leading tower of Pisa, also known as the Tower of Pisa, is a free standing bell tower next to the Church of the Italian city of Pisa. The Tower is located behind the church and is said to be the third oldest structure in Pisa. The tower was made to stand straight, however immediately after it was constructed, it started leaning towards the south east due to a weekly laid foundation and substrate that allows the foundation to change direction.

The total height of the tower is 186.27 feet from the ground towards the lower side and 186.02 feet on the higher side. Its width from the bottom is measured 13 plus feet and 8 plus feet from the top. The Towers total weight is 14,500 metric tons and has 296/294 steps.

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe. Described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800’s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘the Smoke that Thunders’.

In more modern terms it is known as ‘the greatest known curtain of falling water’.

Columns of spray can be seen from miles away as 546 million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge (at the height of the flood season) over a width of nearly two kilometers into a deep gorge over 100 meters below.

The wide basalt cliff, over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a wide placid river to a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges.
